Co-Curricular

Our co-curricular activities are divided into three categories: clubs and societies, games, and uniform bodies. Participation in uniform bodies is mandatory for upper primary students (Years 4, 5, and 6). Unlike most schools, our co-curricular activities are embedded within the school timetable, with a dedicated 1.5-hour session.

The selection of clubs, societies, games, and uniform bodies is based on students’ talents and interests, empowering them to personalize their learning experience. This approach fosters engagement and motivation, as students are more likely to actively participate when pursuing activities they are passionate about.

By focusing on their strengths, students can further develop their talents, leading to personal achievements and a greater sense of accomplishment. Additionally, balancing academic subjects with interest-based activities supports the development of well-rounded individuals, promoting intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth.

The Annual Schools Sports Day

Our Annual School Sports Day is a vibrant and highly anticipated event that brings our school community together in a spirit of friendly competition and celebration. Held at the stadium, the event showcases the talents and teamwork of our students.

The event is organized around four houses, each represented by a distinct color and name: Red (Uhud), Blue (Badar), Green (Khaibar), and Yellow (Khandaq). The houses compete in various sports and activities, fostering a sense of unity and school spirit.

In preparation for Sports Day, students engage in a comprehensive two-week training program, including latihan berbaris (marching), chanting, and intensive sports training. This preparation ensures that they are well-prepared and enthusiastic for the event.

One of the highlights of the day is the array of food and beverage stalls available for shopping and refreshments. Parents, students, and guests can enjoy a variety of delicious options throughout the event, making Sports Day a delightful experience for everyone involved.

Beyond the fun and competition, Sports Day underscores the important link between physical activity and cognitive development. Engaging in physical movement stimulates the brain and enhances cognitive functions, such as focus and memory. This event not only celebrates athleticism and teamwork but also highlights the vital role of sports in supporting both physical and mental well-being.

Parents and community members are invited to join us in cheering on our students and supporting their efforts as they demonstrate their skills and sportsmanship.
